Stonic Gt-Line Isg Mhev: a strong MOT record by UK norms
Across 1,744 MOT tests, the Stonic Gt-Line Isg Mhev returns 92.5% first-time pass — comfortably ahead of the UK fleet average. The single most-logged Major fail is a defective wiper blade. Wipers that don't clear the screen and tyre tread under the limit round out the top three. Average tested mileage sits at 22,110, which is the lens to read those failure rankings through. If you own one and the next test is close, the ranked list below is a sensible pre-test checklist.

What's good
The ageing Kia Stonic has been treated to a second mid-life update, and it's a major one. We like how its interior and exterior styling have been brought into line with the rest of Kia's line-up, but the Stonic still lags behind cars like the Seat Arona and Ford Puma in terms of the way it drives and its practicality.

Buying or keeping a Stonic GT Line Isg Mhev?
Use the failure ranking as a pre-test checklist or a haggling lever. Treat the headline pass rate as a fleet-wide trend, not a guarantee on any individual car.
If you own a Stonic GT Line Isg Mhev and your last MOT looked nothing like the ranked failures above, that's normal — individual cars vary widely. The ranking shows the patterns testers flag most often across the country.
