  3. THE HOLDER BRAKE HOSES 3 AND 4 COULD DETACH FROM THE FRONT FORK BRACKET

  4. POSSIBLE WEAR TO BRAKE HOSE 1 BY RUBBING TO HORN LEAD WIRE

  5. THE BRAKE LEVER MAY BREAK DUE TO AN INCORRECT MOULDING PROCESS

    Affected units must have the brake lever replaced with the countermeasure part.

  6. FUEL MAY LEAK

    Defect

    It has been identified that the dimensions of the fitting bracket which secures the fuel tank to the frame are incorrect and this can cause the bracket to contact the fuel tank. This may result in engine vibration being resonance being transmitted to the fuel tank. This can cause the spot weld of the tank cover stay to fail which can cause due to transmitted through the stay. In the worst case fuel may leak.

    Remedy

    Recall all affected machine to change the fuel tank fitting bracket.

  7. MAIN SWITCH ELECTRIC TERMINAL MAY CORRODE

    It has been identified that water/moisture can enter the Sub-Switch Assembly and contaminate the main switch circuit board. This can possibly cause corrosion of the main switch electric terminal. In the worst case this can result in the electrical supply being cut and could cause the engine to stall whilst the machine is being ridden.

    Remedy

    Recall all known machines to replace the Sub-Switch Assembly with a new Quality Product.

  8. RIDER MAY BE UNABLE TO SELECT GEARS AND / OR ENGINE MAY SEIZE

    Defect

    The clutch release bearing may not be to specification which can result in difficult clutch and gear use. Additionally the oil pump pressure relief valve may not be to specification which can result in broken gear and reduced lubrication and potentially to engine seizure and loss of machine control.

    Remedy

    Recall the machines that are likely to be affected and replace the clutch pressure plate and oil pump assemblies with remedial parts.
