Update the Engine Control Unit software to ensure compliance to regulations.

Vehicles may be affected by premature wearing of the camshaft drive chain leading to abnormal noise or to a breakage of the chain in the worst case.
Remedy
Update the software to improve oil pressure and reduce wear. Check the engine noise and replace the chain if required. If no problem found change the oil to one with higher viscosity and special anti-wear additives.

Low Pressure Fuel Pipe

On affected vehicles the low-pressure fuel pipe could come in to contact with one of the ignition coil screws. This could lead to fuel pipe damage over time resulting in a fuel leak.
Remedy
Fix the low-pressure fuel pipe to the crankcase breather hose with a cable tie to ensure there is no contact between the ignition coil screw and the fuel pipe.

The engine pistons may not be according to specification leading to oil entry in the inlet circuit. In a worst case this may cause an increased engine rpm for a few seconds possibly resulting in a total engine failure.
Remedy
Perform a test of the engine to establish if the pistons are to specification. Where necessary the engine will be replaced.
