    Defect

    There is a significant delay before the entrance/exit door handbrake interlock system closes the door.

    Remedy

    (a) Write to operators and dealers requesting them to check the handbrake interlock time delay. (b) In those cases where the delay is longer than 3 to 4 seconds a pressure switch will be fitted to the handbrake air pipe working on 2 bar pressure. The dealers and Van Hool UK will carry out the modification.
