    Defect

    There is a possibility of welds cracking on the steering wheel. In extreme circumstances if the symptoms are ignored the cracks can progress into total separation causing loss of steering control.

    Remedy

    Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and replace the steering wheel with a redesigned steering wheel.

    The front suspension lower swivel joint ball pin may break and cause a loss of steering control.

    Remedy

    Fit modified swivel joints to the right and left side front suspension units.
