STEERING EFFORT MAY DECREASE

A bolt securing lateral rods to the front and rear axles may become loose and cause a vibration through the steering wheel. These rods act as an anti tramp measure. If the bolt wears it can drop out allowing the axle to tramp and cause the steering effort applied by the driver to reduce.
Remedy
Replace bolts on affected vehicles with modified version

GEARBOX SELECTOR YOKE CONCERN

The bolt securing the gear selector yoke to the gear selector shaft may loosen and fall out. This will allow the gear selector yoke to become detached from the selector shaft. In this event it will not be possible to select gear.
Remedy
Fit a higher tensile bolt to the gear selector yoke and tighten it to a higher torque specification.
