    RM/2017/030 · 30 Oct 2017

    30 Oct 2017

    Defect

On affected machines there is a possibility that a bolt dropped into the air cleaner assembly during production could enter the throttle body preventing the decrease of RPM by throttle operation. Remedy

Remove air cleaner inspect cleaner and throttle body for foreign material. Check fuel hose connection and re-route if required.

    Build window

    RM/2017/031 · 30 Oct 2017

    30 Oct 2017

    Defect

    Defect

    1) The kick starter may not be correctly secure and slip during use. 2) A bolt may have dropped into the air cleaner during assembly. If a bolt is in the air cleaner assembly it is possible for it to enter the throttle body causing the throttle to stick so the rpm cannot be reduced by throttle operation. 3) A fuel hose connector may not have been properly fitted to the injector which can lead to fuel leakage increasing the risk of fire.

    Remedy

Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and 1) Torque kick starter nut to 55NM 2) Check for foreign material in the air cleaner box. 3) Insert fuel feed pipe onto injector until secure
