The track rod adjuster in the track rod tube may not have been correctly positioned prior to clamping. This could result in the clamping force on the adjuster being insufficient. In the worst case detachment of the track rod could occur and cause a loss of steering control.
Remedy
Check the position of the track rod end adjuster and reposition it to comply with the specification where found necessary.

SLACK ADJUSTER MAY NECK ON CLEVIS CONNECTION.

The automatic slack adjuster lever may neck on the brake chamber push rod clevis connection.
Remedy
Recall affected vehicles replace the brake chamber push rod with a shorter version renew the clevis connection and shorten the slack adjuster to prevent further fouling/necking.

First and second axle power steering ram front and rear ball joint taper fixing nuts may not have been tightened to the correct torque.
Remedy
Recall affected vehicles and check the fixing nuts for correct torque. Replace any parts damaged through looseness.

BRAKE CHAMBER CLAMP BOLT MAY FOUL FRONT BRAKE HOSE ELBOW CONNECTOR

Under certain operating conditions the front axle brake chamber clamp bolt could foul the brake pipe elbow fitting where it passes through the chassis frame.
Remedy
Recall the affected vehicles and rotate the brake chamber clamp bolts through 90 degrees so that they are retained in the vertical position.
