  1. THE MATERIAL COMPOSITION OF THE GAS SYSTEM HIGH PRESSURE REGULATOR IS OUT OF SPECIFICATION

    The material composition of the gas system high pressure regulator has been found to be outside of specification.

    Remedy

    Check the component serial number and renew the high pressure regulator if it is in the defined batch of defective components.

  2. INVOLUNTARY BRAKE APPLICATION MAY OCCUR

    A deviation has been detected in the joint between the two halves of the spring brake chambers in the parking circuit. This may cause the two halves to separate and inadvertently apply the parking brake.

    Remedy

    On affected vehicles replace the spring chambers

  3. BRAKE PEDAL MAY BECOME LOOSE

    It has been identified that the brake pedal mounting shaft may not be fully engaged in it's retaining nut. Should this be the case the brake pedal may become loose.

    Remedy

    Recalled vehicles will have the subject nut replaced.

  4. POSSIBLE LOSS OF STEERING CONTROL

    It has been identified that during production the nuts on the track rod end clamps may not have been tightened to the correct torque resulting in insufficient clamping force on the joint. Under conditions of high steering load the track rod may detach resulting in loss of steering control.

    Remedy

    Recalled vehicles will have the track rod end clamps checked and changed as necessary.

    It has been identified that during production the nuts on the track rods likewise the drag link end clamps may not have been tightened to the correct torque resulting in insufficient clamping force on the joint. Under conditions of high steering load the track rod may detach resulting in loss of steering control.

    Remedy

    Recalled vehicles will have the track rod end and drag link clamps checked and changed as necessary.

  7. BATTERY CABLES COULD SHORT CIRCUIT AND CAUSE A FIRE.

    It has been identified that the electrical cables adjacent to the battery have not been properly secured in their respective fuse holders. This may result in the cables working loose with the attendant risk of a short circuit and a fire.

    Remedy

    Recalled vehicles will have the cables checked for security within their fuse holders and be replaced if this is not the case.

  8. EARTHING / GROUNDING CABLE CONNECTION MAY BE INEFFECTIVE.

    It has been identified that poor grounding between the engine gearbox and chassis frame has been caused by the hole for the grounding screw being too large. As a result the engine is being grounded via the steel braiding of the hydraulic hose to the gearbox oil cooler.

    Remedy

    Recalled vehicles will have an additional ground connection fitted.

  9. STEERING DROPARM LOCK NUT MAY WORK LOOSE

    It has been identified that the possibility exists that the steering intermediate drop arm bearing circlip may be missing. Should this be the case the drop arm lock nut may become loose.

    Remedy

    Recalled vehicles will have the presence of the circlip checked. If the circlip is found to be missing the bearing housing will be replaced.

  10. ALTERNATOR BRACKET BOLTS MAY LOOSEN

    It has been identified that the bracket which carries the alternator has been constructed incorrectly. Due to this the securing bolts may become loose.

    Remedy

    Recalled vehicles will be fitted with a modified alternator bracket.

  11. TACHOGRAPH SPEED SENSOR NOT SEALED CORRECTLY

  12. STEERING COLUMN MAY BECOME LOOSE

    The bolt securing the steering shaft to the upper steering column may become loose

    Remedy

    Recall affected vehicles and check that the securing bolt is firmly located and correctly torqued. If found loose fit new bolt and tighten to the correct torque.
