Defect

On affected vehicles the rear seat bench may not be locked into position securely. This could result in injury to the occupants in the event of hard breaking or a collision.

Remedy

Check the rear seat bench has been securely locked in place.

Risk of internal short-circuit to the battery.

Remedy

Controlling the battery and replacing the module if necessary.

Defect

The gearbox may not hold the vehicle in the park position when the vehicle is stationary (Position �P�). The vehicle may roll if the handbrake is not applied.

Remedy

Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and replace the gearbox parking pin.

Defect

An incorrect accelerator pedal may be fitted which could cause discomfort or in extreme circumstances the pedal may get suck under the floor mat.

Remedy

Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and check the accelerator pedal fitted. Replace the pedal where necessary.

Defect

If the vehicle is parked on a hill with park selected and the parking brake off or not fully applied the vehicle may not stay stationary. This results in a higher risk of collision.

Remedy

Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and replace the parking brake mechanism and park wheel which are inside of the reducer.

Defect

The front wheel arch liners may have been incorrectly positioned which may cause them to rub against the front brake hoses. In rare circumstances this could cause a low leakage from both front flexible brake hose leading to gradual increased brake pedal travel in extreme cases a sudden bursting of the flexible hose with sudden increased brake travel and a resultant affect on the braking efficiency. A warning light indicating a low brake fluid level will be displayed on the dashboard.

Remedy

Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and inspect the front wheel arch liners and brake hoses. Where necessary reposition the wheel arch liners and replace the brake hose/s.
