REAR SUSPENSION SPRING EYE BOLT MAY FAIL

It has been identified that the rear axle suspension spring hanger bracket bolt may not have been tightened to the correct specification. This can result in the bolt/nut loosing its torque which can result in the failure of the spring eye bolt. This could then affect the stability of the vehicle.

Remedy

Recall all affected vehicles to check the rear axle suspension spring hanger/spring eye bolt and replace if required.

STEERING WHEEL MAY BECOME LOOSE

It has been identified that the steering wheel securing bolt may work loose. This can ultimately result in the securing bolt unscrewing and the steering wheel detaching. This would then result in loss of directional control. However the concern should be identified to the driver by the movement in the wheel before it becomes an issue.

Remedy

Recall all affected vehicles to check and replace the steering wheel securing bolt.

BRAKING FUNCTION MAY BE COMPROMISED

Defect

It has been identified that due to a quality issue the T Valve within the brake systems may develop a leak. The compressor should be able to keep up with this leak and the driver should be made aware of the issue. However the brake system pressure will be reduced which will potently affect the brake efficiency of the vehicle.

Remedy

Replace all affected vehicles and check the valve numbers. If found to be within the affected batch replace with a new quality assured valve.
