    Defect

These components are of a fabricated design which were originally designed and manufactured by a company called RACELEDA who have now ceased trading. They can be identified by their Gold Zinc passive finish. It is possible that the welds on the fabricated steering arm can under certain circumstances fail which can lead to loss of directional control.

    Remedy

To overcome this concern Rally Design Ltd originally a retail supplier of these arm and independent of RACELEDA are contacting all recipients of these components and offering free of charge a new improved drop forged replacement arm. Rally Design Ltd are not obliged to take this action but are doing so because they believe that their customer and public safety is paramount.
