NICKEL COATING OF A BRAKE PIPE MAY CAUSE A GAS BUILD UP IN THE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM

REAR BRAKE HOSE MAY BE INCORRECTLY ROUTED

The rear brake hose could be incorrectly routed and chafe against other components. This condition could lead to the brake hose leaking fluid and the loss of performance at the rear brake.
Remedy
Recall the machines that are likely to be affected to check and reroute or replace the rear brake hose as necessary.

ENGINE MAY CUT OUT

It has been established that a manufacturing defect in the rotor of the fuel pump installed in the aforementioned machines can cause failure of the pump. This may cause the engine not start or it can cause the engine to stall if the machine is being used in particularly high ambient temperatures.
Remedy
Recall all affected machines to check and if require place the fuel pump.

It is possible that a loss of electrical continuity at the starter relay may occur which can lead to a failure to start the machine or the engine to shut down whilst driving. If the engine shuts down whilst driving this can place the rider in danger.
Remedy
Recall the machines that are likely to be affected and replace the starter relay with a new part.

BRAKES MAY FAIL

The rear brake calliper bolts can become loose. Ultimately if ignored the calliper could become detached resulting in no braking effort available at the rear.
Remedy
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and remove the bolts clean the thread apply the correct thread locking material and refit the bolts applying specified torque.

MACHINE MAY BECOME UNSTABLE

The ECU software for Front Fork Stationary / Parking Hold System may be defective which can lead to the hold system for front suspension failing. The suspension may not lock causing machine to be unstable when parking.
Remedy
Recall the machines that are likely to be affected and check Front fork stationary / parking hold system software. Where necessary the software will be updated.
