On affected vehicles if the brake wear indicator contacts the brake disc a fault occurs in the electric circuit which can cause the fuse to blow. If the vehicle operates with a trailer at the time both brake lamps and the left and right tail lamps on the trailer will fail.

On affected vehicles if the brake wear indicator contacts the brake disc a fault occurs in the electric circuit which can cause the fuse to blow. If the vehicle operates with a trailer at the time both brake lamps and the left and right tail lamps on the trailer will fail.
Remedy
Replace the wiring harness with a modified part and adapt the SAM control unit software.
