    Defect

    On affected vehicles the anti-lock braking system (ABS) and electronic stability programme (ESP) may not function correctly due to the brake pipes being incorrectly connected into the control module.

    Remedy

    Check pipes have been correctly connected and correct the connections if necessary.

  2. McLaren GT - replace the bonnet latch assembly

    On affected vehicles the manual release cable of the bonnet latch assembly may have excessive tension which potentially may cause the latch to open causing an unexpected opening of the bonnet.

    Remedy

    Replace the bonnet latch of the affected vehicles with a new bonnet latch which carries a different design.

    The connection between the driver airbag and the occupant restraint controller may not been fully engaged.

    Remedy

    Check resistance values. If necessary remove the airbag and ensure that the secondary locking tab is correctly engaged.

  4. THE NOISE VIBRATION AND HARDNESS FOAM PAD CAN OVER TIME CORRODE THE SURFACE OF THE FUEL TANK

    The Noise Vibration and Harshness (NVH) foam pad underneath the fuel tank may retain moisture and corrode the fuel tank potentially causing a fuel leak

    Remedy

    Remove the NVH foam pad from the vehicle and inspect fuel tank. Repair or replace the fuel tank if necessary.
