    Defect

    As a result of a machining discrepancy the steering box output shaft may fail resulting in loss of steering control.

    Remedy

    Recall the affected vehicles and replace the steering boxes with quality assured versions.

  2. FAILURE OF ELECTRICAL SUPPLY

    Defect

    The starter motor terminal may fail causing interruption in the feed to various other electrical circuits. Such a failure would immobilise the vehicle and render the lighting system inoperative.

    Remedy

    Recall the affected vehicles for modifications to the wiring which will prevent such an interruption from occurring.
