An issue with the front axle of certain Kubota M6 tractors (the “Concerned Units”) has been identified whereby cracks may cause the axle to malfunction or break during normal operation. This may cause the front wheel(s) to detach and/or significantly affect steering.
Remedy
Kubota intends to replace the front axles of the Concerned Units. Additionally customers with Concerned Units that are equipped with front axles with more than 800 hours of use are advised to stop using their tractor until the front axle has been replaced.

An issue with the front axle of certain Kubota M6 tractors has been identified whereby quenching cracks formed during manufacture of the axles may cause the axle to break during normal operation of the tractor. This may cause the front wheel(s) to detach and/or significantly affect steering.
Remedy
Check axle stamp. If necessary replace both front axles.
