TYRE MAY DEFLATE

During the manufacturing process the inner tubes may be pinched and in the worst case holed. This could cause tyre deflation and creates an increased risk the rider could lose control of the machine.
Remedy
Recall the machines that are likely to be affected to check and where necessary replace the inner tubes.

FUEL LEAK MAY OCCUR

It has been identified that under certain riding conditions fuel can leak from between the tank filler neck and the fuel cap gasket. Fuel leakage in the presence of a spark or a flame may result in an explosion or a fire.
Remedy
Recalled machines will have the fuel tank replaced.

RISK OF FIRE

It has been identified that on subject machines the fuel hose may not have been properly connected to the fuel injector delivery pipe creating the possibility of a fuel leak resulting in the risk of fire or an explosion.
Remedy
Recalled machines will be inspected to ensure that the fuel hose has been properly secured to the fuel rail. The fuel hose will be replaced if the clip is damaged and will not lock correctly.

LAMP BRACKET MAY BECOME DETACHED

On some eligible units the signal lamp bracket may crack due to vibration and rough riding conditions. If this condition is not corrected the bracket with the attached license plate could become detached from the motorcycle creating a road hazard.
Remedy
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to replace the signal lamp bracket.
