  2. INSECURITY OF CAB TOP AND SIDE SPOILER BRACKET

    It is possible that the cab top and side spoiler brackets may not be securely bonded (glued) to the cab structure.

    Remedy

    Check the glued mountings on the top and side spoiler with a spring balance to 40-50 kg. If the bond fails reglue the brackets as per the manufacturer's instructions.

  5. POSSIBILE AIR LOSS FROM BRAKE SYSTEM

    There is the possibility of an air loss from the footbrake system due to corrosion in the pressure regulator APU valve (air dryer with four circuit safety valve].

    Remedy

    To prevent corrosion in the pressure regulator APU a new rubber diaphragm will be fitted.

  10. LEAKAGE AT REAR AXLE HOSE CONNECTIONS

    Some models fitted with pneumatic suspension are equipped with rotatable connectors on the rear axle brake hose connections. These connectors may leak with an adverse effect on braking performance.

    Remedy

    Recall the affected vehicles for inspection of the connector type fitted and where necessary revise to non-rotatable connectors

  11. POSSIBLE INADVERTENT APPLICATION OF PARKING BRAKE

    A steel ball used to seal an aperture in the parking brake control valve may become displaced and could result in inadvertent application of the parking brake.

    Remedy

    The affected vehicles are being recalled to be inspected for the make of parking brake valve fitted. A securing clamp will be fitted to all the affected units to prevent displacement of the ball.

  14. POSSIBLE LEAKAGE OF FUEL
