   On affected vehicles the Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) connections to the front wheels maybe be inverted this may result in an increased stopping distance and/or reduced vehicle stability control during braking that requires ABS intervention.

3. POSSIBLE LACK OF COTTER PIN OR WRONG COTTER PIN ASSEMBLY ON STEERING AXLE

4. EXHAUST GAS TEMPERATURES MAY DROP BELOW THE OPTIMAL OPERATIONAL LEVEL

5. DASH WARNING LIGHT MAY FAIL TO ILLUMINATE

   Defect

   During one of the periodical design reviews an issue has been identified that theoretically could affect the vehicle in very particular circumstances. Should a fault in the parking braking system occur a degree of braking action could be applied by the system. This condition could potentially not be highlighted in the vehicle as the specific warning light could not be activated.

   Remedy

   The cluster reprogramming rectifies the issue and ensures that even in particular conditions the information is correctly displayed through the warning light in the cluster.

6. SHOCK ABSORBER MOUNTING MAY FAIL

   Some vehicles of the Eurocargo Euro 3 and MY2008 range may be subject to breakage of the rear shock absorber bottom support when used in demanding work situations. This will result in failed operation of the shock absorber.

   Remedy

   To replace the defective rear shock absorber bottom support bracket within the listed chassis range with support brackets of correct conformity.

7. CAB MAY TILT WITHOUT WARNING

   On vehicles equipped with electric cab tilting mechanism it is possible that water may enter the control relay for the system. This can cause a short circuit in the pump control relay which will operate the tilt pump and if the driver has failed to leave the control valve in the lowered position then an involuntary tilting of the cab may occur.

   Remedy

   Recall all affected vehicles for the fitment of a water tight protection to be fitted to the control relay.

8. IN A COLLISION THE REAR BUMPER MAY NOT PERFORM AS INTENDED

9. REAR AXLE MAY NOT BE SECURE

   Incorrectly fitted panhard rod mounting bolts may fail and lead to the rear axle developing lateral movement.

10. POSSIBLE LOSS OF DRIVE AND LOSS OF VEHICLE CONTROL.

    It has been identified that due to insufficient clearance between the prop shaft centre bearing flange and the cross member a foul condition may exist between the two. It is therefore possible that the flange could break with possible loss of drive and vehicle control.

    Remedy

    Recalled vehicles will be fitted with new nuts and bolts and additional spacers fitted under the centre bearing which will give increased clearance between the prop shaft flange and the cross member.

12. THE CONTACTS IN THE CAB LOOM MAY OXIDIZE AND OVERHEAT POSSIBILITY OF FIRE.

    It has been identified that the possibility exists that the contacts in the cab wiring loom may oxidize and cause overheating of the connector block. In the worst case this may result in a fire.

    Remedy

    Recalled vehicles will have the suspect wires removed from the connector block. Theses will then be reconnected using heat shrink terminals.

13. LOSS OF STEERING

14. CONTROL RELAY MAY OVERHEAT

15. REAR PASSENGER SEAT BELT MAY BE TOO SHORT

16. CAB MAY SHUDDER WHICH MAY AFFECT STEERING CONTROL

    It has been identified that an insufficient tightening torque mat have been applied to the bolts of the cab to chassis front mountings. This can cause the mounting bolts to work loose and the cab to shudder which may affect steering control.

    Remedy

    Recalled vehicles will have the cab front mounting bolts checked for the correct tightening torque.

17. REAR BRAKE PERFORMANCE MAY NOT BE AS EXPECTED

    It is possible in an emergency braking situation with fully laden vehicle the rear axle brakes will not be applied as expected giving a rise of extended braking distance.

    Remedy

    Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and check the brake pressure regulator type fitted to the vehicle is the same as that list on the vehicle plate. If necessary fit a new plate. Check and if necessary adjust the load sensing valve linkage.

18. THE HEATED WINDSCREEN FUSES MAY OVERHEAT

    There is insufficient surface area on the removable link between the two 30 amp heated windscreen fuses. This can resulting in the fuses being overheated.

19. HEATER CONTROL UNIT MAY MALFUNCTION AND OVERHEAT

20. POSSIBILITY OF WATER INGRESS INTO ADR BATTERY RELAY

22. FOOTVALVE SECURING BOLT MAY BE MISSING/NOT TIGHTENED CORRECTLY

    The possibility exists that a footvalve securing bolt is missing or has been incorrectly tightened which can lead to pedal operation being hindered thus affecting braking.

    Recall likely to be affected vehicles and check that all the footvalve securing bolts are in place. If this is not the case a replacement bolt will be fitted. In any event the bolts will be checked for the correct torque.

30. POSSIBLE WATER INGRESS ON FRONT BRAKE CYLINDER
