  5. DASH WARNING LIGHT MAY FAIL TO ILLUMINATE

    During one of the periodical design reviews an issue has been identified that theoretically could affect the vehicle in very particular circumstances. Should a fault in the parking braking system occur a degree of braking action could be applied by the system. This condition could potentially not be highlighted in the vehicle as the specific warning light could not be activated.

    Remedy

    The cluster reprogramming rectifies the issue and ensures that even in particular conditions the information is correctly displayed through the warning light in the cluster.

  6. SHOCK ABSORBER MOUNTING MAY FAIL

    Some vehicles of the Eurocargo Euro 3 and MY2008 range may be subject to breakage of the rear shock absorber bottom support when used in demanding work situations. This will result in failed operation of the shock absorber.

  7. CAB MAY TILT WITHOUT WARNING

    On vehicles equipped with electric cab tilting mechanism it is possible that water may enter the control relay for the system. This can cause a short circuit in the pump control relay which will operate the tilt pump and if the driver has failed to leave the control valve in the lowered position then an involuntary tilting of the cab may occur.

    Remedy

    Recall all affected vehicles for the fitment of a water tight protection to be fitted to the control relay.

    It has been identified that due to insufficient clearance between the prop shaft centre bearing flange and the cross member a foul condition may exist between the two. It is therefore possible that the flange could break with possible loss of drive and vehicle control.

    Remedy

    Recalled vehicles will be fitted with new nuts and bolts and additional spacers fitted under the centre bearing which will give increased clearance between the prop shaft flange and the cross member.

    It has been identified that the possibility exists that the contacts in the cab wiring loom may oxidize and cause overheating of the connector block. In the worst case this may result in a fire.

  17. REAR BRAKE PERFORMANCE MAY NOT BE AS EXPECTED

  18. THE HEATED WINDSCREEN FUSES MAY OVERHEAT
