  1. TIPPING BODY SYSTEM RESTRICTOR VALVE MAY FAIL

    Defect

    A faulty internal restrictor valve may cause excess pressure in the vehicle's tipping system. This could cause structeral failure of the body lifting cylinder and result in uncontrolled descent of the body.

    Remedy

    Check the security of the restrictor in the PT valve. Tighten if necessary and lock the thread in accordance with the Hyva technical bulletin. Damaged valves are to be replaced as directed.
