  1. CLUTCH MAY MALFUNCTION

    RM/2014/030 · 1 Nov 2014

    1 Nov 2014

    Defect

A tear may develop in the clutch master cylinder seal allowing a slow release of pressure in the system. If this should occur there may not be sufficient clutch lift to prevent the machine creeping forward.

    Remedy

Recall the machines that are likely to be affected to replace the clutch master cylinder piston assembly.

    Build window

    Built 25 Mar 2013 – 20 Aug 2014

    ~705 vehicles affected

  2. ENGINE MAY STOP UNEXPECTEDLY

    RM/2014/016 · 20 May 2014

    20 May 2014

    Defect

The engine may stop unexpectedly due to the fuel supply running out even though the fuel range indicator shows miles remaining and in some cases before the low fuel warning lamp illuminates.

    Remedy

Recall the machines that are likely to be affected to perform a software programme update to re-calibrate the fuel level sensor signal.

    Build window

    Built 30 Mar 2012 – 10 Mar 2014

    ~435 vehicles affected

  3. CLUTCH MAY NOT DISENGAGE

    RM/2013/029 · 21 Oct 2013

    21 Oct 2013

    Defect

Hydraulic clutch system may lose the ability to generate enough lift to disengage the clutch. (Hydraulic clutch failure) and possibly an incorrect clutch release plate may have been installed. These items can cause the inability to disengage the engine from the transmission during operation leading to a dangerous condition.

    Remedy

Recall the machines that are likely to be affected to clean the secondary actuator of debris and install a new release rod and rod end. Additionally to identify the type of clutch release plate and where necessary replace with one of the correct type.

    Build window

    Built 3 May 2013 – 14 Oct 2013

    ~25 vehicles affected

  4. POSSIBLE LOSS OF CONTROL

    RM/2009/007 · 23 Mar 2009

    23 Mar 2009

    Defect

It has been identified that the jiffy stand spring anchor may have been constructed with a defective weld which may result in the stand not retracting as intended. In this condition control of the machine could be lost.

    Remedy

Recalled machines will have the jiffy stand spring anchor replaced.

    Build window

    Built 24 Jul 2008 – 28 Aug 2008

    ~122 vehicles affected

  5. POSSIBILITY OF FIRE

    RM/2007/023 · 8 Jun 2007

    8 Jun 2007

    Defect

It has been identified that the possibility exists that the battery positive lead may contact a weld bead on the oil tank. This may cause the weld bead to abrade the insulation on the cable and cause an electrical short circuit from the battery through the oil tank and oil lines. This could lead to an oil leak and or the possibility of a fire.

    Remedy

Recalled machines will have a battery caddy installed that will protect the cable and ensure correct routing.

    Build window

    Built 8 Jun 2006 – 14 Mar 2007

    ~1,230 vehicles affected
