FAILURE OF FRONT INDICATORS MAY NOT BE SIGNALLED TO THE RIDER

The failure of a front turn signal bulb may not be signalled to the rider. The concern is a result of incorrect programming of the Body Control Module.
Remedy
Recall the machines that are likely to be affected and re programme the Body Control Module.

CLUTCH MAY MALFUNCTION

A tear may develop in the clutch master cylinder seal allowing a slow release of pressure in the system. If this should occur there may not be sufficient clutch lift to prevent the machine creeping forward.
Remedy
Recall the machines that are likely to be affected to replace the clutch master cylinder piston assembly.

It has been identified that on subject machines the fuel tank front mountings may distort in reaction to severe frame damage occasioned in a frontal collision. This may result in fuel leakage from the weld of the front bracket to the tunnel. Fuel leakage in the presence of an ignition source may result in a fire.
Remedy
Recalled machines will have braces fitted to the vulnerable area in order to reduce fuel tank front mounting distortion during frontal impact scenarios.

The mirrors are incorrectly located on the inner fairing making it impossible to achieve correct mirror adjustment thus restricting rearward vision.
Remedy
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and reposition the mirrors.

UNPREDICTABLE FUEL SUPPLY TO CARBURETTOR

The use of reformulated petrol in combination with a particular usage pattern of the vacuum operated fuel valve by the rider can affect the supply of petrol to the carburettor and lead to unscheduled shutdown of the engine.
Remedy
The affected machines are being recalled for replacement of the original fuel valve diaphragm assembly with modified components.
