NUMBER PLATE HOLDER ASSEMBLY MAY DETACH

It is possible that the mounting for the number plate holder sub-frame may crack and if not noted and rectified could lead to this large component detaching from the machine and possibly foul other components which can destabilise the machine.
Remedy
Recall the machines that are likely to be affected and replace the number plate holder sub-frame.

SIDE STAND MAY BREAK

It has been identified there is a manufacturing error in the side stand of the machine. This error can result in the side stand failing and the machine falling over.
Remedy
Recall affected machines and replace the side stand with a new quality assured component.

The side stand may bend and in extreme circumstances it could break in the rotation pivot area. This could cause the machine to fall to the side resulting in damage to the machine and injuries to anyone stood in close proximity.
Remedy

NUMBER PLATE AND CHAIN GUARD MAY DETACH

The bolts retaining the number plate holder and chain guard may loosen and allow the components to contact the tyre.
Remedy
Recall the machines that are likely to be affected to replace the chain guard and to tighten the relevant bolts to a new higher torque setting.

STEERING LOCK MAY NOT ENGAGE

Software version of the Hands Free control unit revision 43 under some special conditions of use (upon instrument panel switch on) could fail to disengage the electronic steering lock. It may then be possible to start the engine before realising the steering is still locked.
Remedy
A new software version 44 has been designed to allow the reprogram of the hands free control unit.
