POSSIBILITY OF FUEL LEAK.

Failure of number one injector pipe which in the worst case scenario may result in a vehicle fire.
Remedy
Replace number one injector pipe with a quality assured item. At the same time the remaining injector pipes will be inspected for serviceability.

BRAKE CALIPER MOUNTING BOLT MAY BREAK

The bolts which secure the front brake caliper to the mounting bracket may not be to specification and could shear as a result.
Remedy
Check identification number on the bolt heads and replace with bolts of the correct specification where necessary.

FUEL RETURN PIPE MAY FRACTURE AND LEAK

There is a possibility that due to vibration the steel fuel return pipe to fuel filter may fracture and leak. Fuel may be deposited upon the engine and ignite.
Remedy
Recall affected vehicles and replace fuel return pipe with a flexible pipe.

BRAKE CHAMBER DRAIN PLUG

Front disc brakes air chamber drain plug was not removed during production. Consequently and condensate may freeze under extremely cold conditions and impair the effectiveness of the brake.
Remedy
Recall affected vehicles and remove the brake chamber drain plug.

BALL JOINT TO TRACK ROD CONNECTION MAY BECOME LOOSE

The double thread connection balljoint to the track rod can become loose caused by insufficient torquing in production.
Remedy
Recall affected vehicles and undo and retighten the clamp bolt with 170 Nm plus or minus 10 Nm torque. In cases where the threaded connection is loose already renew the track rod and reset the toe-in.

Remedy
Affected vehicles are being recalled for inspection of the throttle mechanism and adjustment of the throttle return spring where necessary.

SECURITY OF REAR SPRING PIN NUT

FAILURE OF PROPELLOR SHAFT

Isolated instances of failure of the propellor shaft welding have occurred. (This campaign was launched to rework a batch of vehicles not included in Recall R1994/58).
Remedy
Recall the affected vehicles and replace the propeller shaft with a quality assured unit. Replacement shafts are distinguished by having the letter S stamped on a flange.

TWISTED REAR S CAM AT SPLINES

During production of the vehicles concerned an electrical relay was not connected to the halt (or door) brake. As a result excessive air pressure can be applied to the rear brakes if the service brake is operated whilst the parking and halt brakes are
