POSSIBLE CRACKING OF FORK TUBE CLAMP

Possible cracking of fork tube lower triple clamp during manufacture. Failure in use may cause partial or total loss of steering stability.
Remedy
All machines fitted with triple clamps within the affected range will be initially checked and if necessary new quality assured triple clamps wil be fitted.

SIDE STAND RETAINING SPRINGS MAY FAIL

In the event of both side stand springs failing the side stand would drop and contact the road. This could result in the rider being thrown off the machine.
Remedy
Replace the dual side stand springs with a single stronger spring.
