The front quick release axle may not be to specification. The axle may become damaged or in the worst case fail when the machine is used in circumstances of severe loading. (Extension of RM/2009/022 after further information came to light)

FUEL PRESSURE SENSORS MAY BE DEFECTIVE

The fuel pressure sensor might become defective. If it does become defective it will cause erratic idle speed and possible cutting out.
Remedy
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to check the fuel pressure sensor and where necessary replace the sensor with a quality assured sensor.

FUEL MAY LEAK FROM FUEL PUMP MOUNTING FLANGE

The use of some solvents may result in cracks occurring around the fuel pump mounting flange which will result in a fuel leak.
Remedy
Recall likely to be affected machines and fit the fuel pump mounting flange with a protective rubber cap.

REAR BRAKE CALIPER RETAINING SCREWS MAY NOT BE TO THE CORRECT TORQUE

It is possible that a number of machines have been released from the factory with the securing screws of the rear brake caliper not tightened to the correct torque. Should this situation not be rectified the caliper may would become insecure with the attendant possibility that the rear wheel could lock.
Remedy
Recall affected machines and check the tightening torque of the caliper retaining screws.
