   Brake pad material may detach from the back plate.

   Remedy

   Check part number on disc pad replace if the number is the faulty part number.

2. REDUCED BRAKING EFFICIENCY

   Defect

   Non-conformant front brake master cylinders have been installed on a specific batch vehicles. These non-conformant parts may have a defective hydraulic circuit which in certain conditions may result in longer than normal braking distances.

   Remedy

   Recall the machines that are likely to be affected and check the batch number of the front brake master cylinder. Where a master cylinder from the affected batch is found it will be replaced.

3. SUDDEN LOSS OF POWER

   The engine may lose performance/stall due to valve/s dropping due to premature wear of the valve cap.

   Remedy

   Recall the machines that are likely to be affected to replace the upper cups of the intake and exhaust valves.
