1. BRAKES MAY NOT PERFORM AS EXPECTED

   Defect

   The brake master cylinder push rod and boot are allowing air to pass into the master cylinder which will gradually extend the movement of the lever until the efficiency of the brake is compromised.

   Remedy

   Recall the machines that are likely to be affected and replace the brake master cylinder push rod and boot.

2. REAR WHEEL MAY LOCK

   Defect

   The fastening which fixes the front sprocket to the gearbox output shaft may slacken and cause abnormal noise to occur from the nearside of the engine. If the noise is not heard or ignored eventually the rear wheel will lock. This will increase the risk of an accident.

   Remedy

   Recall the machines that are likely to be affected and check the diameter of the recess on the secondary gearbox shaft. Fit a revised sprocket fastener kit or where necessary fit both a new secondary shaft to the gearbox and a revised sprocket fastener kit.
