The tow bar and whatever is being towed may become detached from the vehicle because a number of mounting points are missing from the tow bar. A loose trailer without directional control and possibly braking has high risk of incident.
Remedy
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and replace the tow bar with one of modified design.
